Reading Psalm 50 I noted verse 10: For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle of a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills and all that moves in the field is mine.

Several years ago I visited the home of author Gene Stratton Porter. She was a renown naturalist.

Psalm 47 The sound of a trumpet!

Psalm 47 vs. 4 "God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet." Is there any instrument that can rally the people - like a trumpet? This verse reminds me of the music at our church. We are blessed to have a trumpeter.
